Dr. Orin Ashley
Dr. Ashley graduated with his BSC in Animal Science and D.V.M. from Tuskegee University in Alabama. He has practiced in the Cincinnati area since 1985. He has a special interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery and experience treating exotics. Dr. Ashley currently has 4 cats and is affectionately called the “cat whisperer”.
Dr. Julia Lister
Dr. Lister was born in the US but spent much of her upbringing in the UK. As a teen, her family returned to the states in Seattle where she got her degrees in Public Health at University of Washinton and veterinary medicine at Washington State University.. She and her partner recently relocated to Cincinnati to be closer to his family. When not at work she spends time with her one-eyed cat Romeo and enjoys reading, silversmithing, painting, hiking, yoga and travel.
Robin Aoki
Practice Manager
Robin is a Registered Veterinary Technician and has her Bachelor’s in Technical and Applied Studies through the University of Cincinnati. She is our practice manager at Eastside Animal Hospital but also fills the role of RVT. She loves all her veterinary patients but takes a special interest in the exotic variety. When Robin is not at work, you will find her spending time with her son and working with their extensive list of animals of the hoofed, furry, feathery and scaly variety.
Jill
Receptionist
JIll has worked in offices for 20 years, you will be happily welcomed by her at our front desk. She loves animals and has 2 dogs and 3 cats. Jill loves meeting all of our patients and the pet parents. She has done some rescue and has taken in many pets over the years that she loves to help in any way she can.
Breezy
Veterinary Assistant
Breana aka “Breezy” is a Veterinary Assistant with plans to attend college to become a registered veterinary technician. In her free time, she likes to go horseback riding with family and friends. What she considers to be her kids would include her 2 dogs, 2 horses and 1 cat. She plans to attend college in the near future to further her career and become a registered vet technician. She has always wanted to work in a vet office and help animals, now her dream has come true.
Olivia
Veterinary Technician
Olivia is a Veterinary Technician who has been in the field for 8 years. She is finishing her Associates degree so she can continue doing what she loves. Olivia has a passion for animal care and is specifically interested in animal behavior and nutrition. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her partner and caring for their vast collection of reptiles. She also likes spending quality time outdoors with her Rottweiler named Rex.
Taylor
Pre-Veterinary Student
Taylor is a Fourth Year Student at University of Cincinnati. She is majoring in Biology of Animals and is also president of UC’s Pre-Veterinary Society. In her free time she enjoys visiting parks in the Cincy area, going to concerts and watching scary movies. Her goals are to further her career by attending graduate school and obtaining her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. We know Taylor is a smart young woman with tons of potential in the future.
Kyleigh
Veterinary Assistant Receptionist
Kyleigh is a Veterinary assistant and she has a big love and compassion for animals and helping others. In her free time you will either find her at the barn with horses or roller skating! She has 2 dogs and they are very, very spoiled. Kyleigh says she has always wanted to work in a vet’s office ever since she was a little girl. She now says her dream has come true, and she is eager to learn new things everyday!
