Core Canine Vaccines:
- DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus).
- Distemper: Viral disease that attacks the lungs, brain and spinal cord; commonly fatal.
- Hepatitis: Viral disease that affects the Liver.
- Parainfluenza: Viral Disease that affects the respiratory tract.
- Parvovirus: Viral Disease that affects the gastrointestinal tract and can affect the heart.
- Leptospirosis: Bacterial Disease that affects the liver, kidneys and other organs transmitted through the urine.
- Rabies: Viral Disease that can infect any warm-blood animal through saliva; fatal.
Lifestyle Canine Vaccines:
- Bordetella Bronchiseptica (Kennel Cough): Bacterial infection affecting the respiratory tract. Required by boarding kennels, obedience class, grooming facilities and some dog parks.
- Influenza: Viral Disease affecting the respiratory tract. Often required for boarding kennels, obedience class, grooming facilities and some dog parks.
- Lyme: Bacterial Infection transmitted by ticks. Affects the joints and sometimes the kidneys.
